A little bit of this.. a little of that

That is what we have been up too lately...little of this and that. I really don't understand how busy I have been not too be able to blog! So here is a quick recap on the Buckman family in the last few months... school started, I started a new job which is part time 15 hours a week in the the school system, Mira is swimming for the Y Bolts swim team, 4 hours a week  of practice and has meets about 2-3x a month, Mira turned 9,Tyler is in 9th grade busy with school and meeting new friends, Ron continues to be busy at UPS, a few trips here and there, spending time with family and friends!

Happy 17th Anniversary Ron!(yesterday.) This year we celebrated by me recovering from my surgery two weeks ago. So we just had a nice dinner at home with the kiddos! Ron made a bonfire later in the evening and made me an anniversary s'mores. It was delish!

 I love you with all my heart and thank you for making the last seventeen years of my life wonderful  (most of the time... hehehe)!

More Galveston Island

Galveston Island - Beach Day #1

We arrived at Galavston Island later in the afternoon. Got settled in and headed right for the beach. Ron bought the kids boogie boards.. they had a blast. Oh and he was so excited to get into the ocean that he forgot that his car keys, wallet and cell phone where in his pocket! Nice! Thankfully he did not loose anything just the key fob did not work for a few days and his cell is dead. Despite that we had a wonderful time at the beach!

Summer Road Trip - Day 3

Finally after being in the car for two days.. two stops one in Tulsa and Houston. We were spoiled and had some good Texas BBQ homemade by my cousin. And finally we head out to Gavastan Island! Here are some pictures of our beach condo that we rented with the Youngs.

Summer Road Trip - Day 2

We stayed over night in Tulsa, had breakfast at the Waffle House, had a short visit cousins in Dallas and arrived in Houston! Fun times!

Summer Road Trip - Day 1

We just returned from a 12 day rode trip! We drove down to Texas and spent time on Galvaston beach with the Youngs and our cousins that live in Houston. We traveled through way too states with stops in Kansas City, Tulsa, Dallas, Houston, Galvaston Beach, San Antonio, Wichita. We had a blast! Here are a few pictures from our first day on the rode.. and yes I have not even finished posting pictures from Spring Break. Great Passengers
